Julia Meder is a life and leadership coach, and an ex-expat partner. With her family Julia lived in the United States for four years and experienced all the ups and downs of expat (partner) life. When Julia moved back to Germany, she turned these personal experiences into her own business and started Dreamfinder Coaching. She now works as a successful coach, author, and host of the Expat Partner Podcast.
Today, expat partners are one of Julia’s main client groups. Expat partners, or trailing spouses as they are also known, follow their partner on a job assignment to a foreign country. In many cases, these expat partners, who are still predominantly female, put their own career on hold to take care of the family. If you would like to have a happy, successful and fulfilling expat time, today’s episode is for you. Julia Meder recommends a variety of videos, books, and podcasts not only for (future) expat partners. Even if you will never ever go abroad, you can still use Julia’s recommendations to really get to know yourself better and to create the life you want.
