Happy fall, y’all! It’s going to be a beautiful sunny fall weekend here in Chattanooga. Leaves are falling down, red ones and green ones, yellow ones and brown ones. My kids are planning to pile them all up in our backyard, jump into them and throw them high up in the air. Sounds like a lot of fun and a great opportunity to get out my digital camera and take pictures. And what are your plans for this weekend?
1 – If you are living in the Chattanooga area and you don’t have any plans for the weekend yet, this country fair and this Halloween event might be fun family activities.
2 – When we moved to the US, our friends gave us a personalized memory game. It’s such a fun and thoughtful (Christmas!?) present and a good way to make use of those pictures on your phone.
3 – An Englishman in New York writes about life in the US. I agree with a lot of things on his list! Do you?
4 – How do you celebrate fall? We usually carve a couple of pumpkins, pull our Halloween decoration out of the storage, and dig into soups, chilis and stews. Here are a couple more ideas.
5 – Why, oh why, is it so hard to take care of ourselves?
I hope you are enjoying this edition of The Weekend Files. You are always welcome to share your favorite weekly links with me (and everybody else), either in the comments below, on Facebook or Instagram. Have a great weekend!
