Did you know that Valentine’s Day could be even more important than Christmas and birthdays combined? Well, I know now – my kids were absolutely CRAZY this week about crafting Valentines for their classmates and teachers! On top of that my daughter is also celebrating „100 Days of School“ today. She was asked to design a shirt for this very special occasion. Thanks to Pinterest, a snow day and the hot glue gun this was one of the easier school projects we have done so far:
But now on to my favorite links from last week.
Link Love #2
1 – Traveling any time soon? Here are some great gift ideas for kids and teens.
2 – An interesting article on the history of tipping in the United States.
3 – Want to get active with your kids when the weather outside is frightful? Thanks to my favorite podcast I’ve got the solution for you and me. We’ll start with Zumba Kids this afternoon!!!
4 – Did you watch the Superbowl halftime show last weekend? And how Beyoncé was so much cooler than Coldplay? A lot has been written about her performance and her new video „Formation“ – you should watch it and read this for some of the lyrics and background information.
5 – My whole family loves Mexican food so I’m planning to make this over the weekend. It looks delicious, easy to make and kid-friendly (after bean-removal, of course!).
Two more links (and German expat blogs) I would like to share with you today: Johanna from Mamalogik interviewed me a couple of weeks ago about my life as an expat. And very recently Juliane from My Expat Days asked me about my blog and how I feel about going back to Germany. Please check out their blogs! They are great resources for expat life in Seoul (Mamalogik) and New York City (My Expat Days).
Have a great weekend and happy Valentine’s Day!
