Today is December 18, only six more days until Christmas Eve. And about two more weeks until the end of the year. For a lot of people, the time between the old and the new year is a time to relax, spend time with family, read a good book, play a fun board game. And there are hopefully also moments that you have for yourself. Moments in which you look back at the last twelve months. Moments of self-reflection. Whether this scenario sounds familiar because it’s a practice you’ve been doing for years or whether you have never really done any self-reflection before, I have something for you:
A list of 10 questions for self-reflection. In English and in German. Learn more about these questions on episode 7 of the „What to Watch, Read + Listen“ podcast.
Laura Tremaine’s 10 questions for self-reflection
I didn’t come up with these questions myself, but discovered them on one of my favorite podcasts, the “10 things to tell you” podcast hosted by Laura Tremaine. On episode 45 Laura introduced a list of self-reflective questions. When I reached out to her, Laura gave me permission to translate them to German and to share them with you. Thank you so much, Laura!
Starting on December 20th, Laura will be posting the questions on her Instagram account. So if you are up for an end of the year challenge in English, please visit „10 things to tell you“ on Instagram and join the project there. And if you want to get more explanations and background information, you can also always listen to Laura’s podcast episode.
Worksheets: 10 questions for the end of the year
If sharing your answers on social media is not really your cup of tea, you are more than welcome to download one of my worksheets:
10 Questions For The End Of 2019
I hope that you are going to have fun with this project. Now enjoy the holidays and thank you so much for listening! And reading! In this busy and noisy world of information overload this really and truly means the world to me!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all of you!
