The Weekend Files

weekend files links

Today, I’m sharing my favorite links from last week with you: Links that inspire me, make me think or laugh, bring tears to my eyes, or keep my credit card busy… Happy clicking, y’all!

01 – What a relief! It’s not just me personally, but it’s blogs in general that experience less and less reader involvement and interaction.

02 – Tina, the Traveling Mama, is writing about being home away from home. So well said and I couldn’t agree more! By the way: Tina and her husband took my profile pictures and our most recent family pictures while they were still here in the US. They did an amazing job!

03 – I have a daughter. And I am a linguist. So it makes perfect sense that I enjoyed reading Why daughters fight with their mothers (recommended by Hollywood Housewife). The interview is with Deborah Tannen.

04 – I have a daughter. She is almost 5, so the Barbie age has started for her. And me. For Christmas, I faced this problem and though my solution is different from the one described in the article, the expert answers still make me feel better. Kind of.

05 – This and this video made me laugh (Sarah, thank you for the link!).

06 – Have you listened to this podcast? I’m sure my American readers know what I’m talking about but what you guys in Germany? Is that podcast popular over there, too? You can binge listen to the entire first season and that’s what you should do! At least, that’s what I had do to over Christmas. I just couldn’t stop and now I can’t wait for season 2!

Have a great weekend and see y’all next week!
