My computer crashed. And I got (and still am) really really mad (and upset…). The hard drive seems to be damaged and I have no idea how this happened… Hopefully it can be fixed soon! So this edition of The Weekend Files is kind of improvised since I’m using a different computer and don’t have all the resources and software that I usually use. But I still wanted to share a few of my favorite links from last week with you! Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend? Today, I’m excited to join my daughter and her classmates on their first field trip!
1 – My blogger friend Claudia from the German blog Was fuer mich just added a new wall tattoo to her online shop. Retro VW minivan (Bulli!) lovers are going to be blown away!
2 – Have you had a green smoothie yet? I discovered this inspiring website when I listened to this episode of The Lively Show podcast. Great recipes, helpful tips and resources, and beautiful photos! So go and buy yourself a bag of fresh spinach and start your green smoothie adventure! Tip: don’t try to mix as many ingredients as possible aka whatever you can find in your fridge. Less is more and much more flavorful! Even my kids like green smoothies (I always add a splash of agave syrup for more sweetness).
3 – JT and Jimmy did it again. So good (though I only know 50% of the songs….).
4 – As already mentioned last week, we are still trying to get in the daily homework groove. Now we are in desperate need of a kid-appropriate desk that is not too big, but still big enough. This gives some good ideas. And this has already worked perfectly as a movable art supply (as suggested by Design Mom in her book)!
I really hope to see you back here next week. Sitting at my own computer! Have a great weekend!
Tina
